MacKay Design Studio is a creative team headed by artist Neil Musson.
We change the way people think about a place by creating site specific artwork which influences public perception and experience. Our installations are inspired by intersecting pathways in architectural environments and often use interactive technologies to change their appearance. Artworks are sometimes permanent, sometimes temporary but always question our understanding of community, belonging and social engagement.
The studio is experienced in building large scale artwork including commissions for airports, hospitals, schools, galleries, hotels, nature reserves, councils and churches.
Neil also collaborates with artist Jono Retallick to explore themes relating to journeys through time, emotion and landscape. Click below to view the M+R web site.
